Takeover Completion 'by end of week'

Al Fahim anticipates that the takeover of Portmsouth FC will be fully completed 'by the end of the week'. Last week Al Fahim committed himself to the takeover. With the Premier League expected to complete their 'Fit and Proper Persons Test' shortly, Al Fahim is all set to complete the takeover once the FAPL have satisfied themselves on the source of the funds.

In the face of a challenge from people who had purchased property in the Hydra Village project, the FA Premier League has been fully investigating whether Al Fahim meets the The 'Fit and Proper Persons Test' criteria. With the development classified as 'delayed and ongoing', Al Fahim is set to pass the tests.

  2. It is scary to read that Portsmouth, my club for 25 years almost went into administration. i now understand why we had to sell players so quickly and how Al Fahim was unable to prevent this. Mr Gaydmak seems to be holding my club to ransom for his frivelous spending over the last 2 years. I would like to thank Mr Al Fahim for saving our grand old club and ensuring it's future - I hope other business associates in UAE can join him and set up a sound football club in the long term.

  4. Think takeover will be before 10 August.
Something planned for FP with Arabic connections on the 10th.
On another note, check out Gaydamak senior and his sale of Israeli club, this family have very weird ways of carrying out business transactions (maybe faircomment will start a blog).
